Our Story
This foundation was started by Edward (Father) and Austin (son) Henderson, who were taking a stand against bullying because Austin was bullied in elementary school for stuttering. The way Austin talked at that time made him an easy target for bullies. Edward knew Austin didn’t have anyone to help him feel safe at school; he knew he had to do something, not only to help Austin but help all youth to ensure schools were bully free. Austin also knew he had to do something to help himself and coined the phrase “Bullying is Lame bro!” This phrase became more popular and school and had a positive impact on all students.
Auzzie foundation has amassed a team of teachers, coaches, principals, students, parents, child psychologists, counselors, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, life coaches, professional athletes, and business owners to aid in the empowerment of both the bully and the victim. The Auzzie Anti-Bullying program has a 90% success rate, it provides schools with effective leadership coaching, student trainings, and interactive workshops to prevent bullying and cyberbullying and to respond adequately if any incidents occur. The Auzzie Anti Bullying program is now delivered to schools across Georgia and Alabama.

All school staff know that a bully free and no fear school is necessary for students to thrive socially and academically. The Auzzie Anti-Bullying program helps ensure this.
Schools that successfully complete our one-year program are awarded the Auzzie Anti-Bully badge that can be displayed on school websites and all communications. Schools earning the badge leave the program with:

An anti-bullying policy defining what strategies all students, teachers, staff, parents, and stakeholders will do to ensure a bully-free campus

A social mission statement including your school’s standards for how everyone treats each other

Trainings for all school community members to prevent bullying and on how to respond adequately when incidents still occur
